Red2Green needs a Support Worker to join our team in our converted barn in the peaceful surroundings of Swaffham Bulbeck and at our community café and sensory garden in Bottisham. You will support our learners to develop new skills, have fun and get out and about in the local community.
37 hours a week (Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:15am-4:45pm). This is a 1-year contract subject to funding. It is anticipated, but not guaranteed, that funding will continue after this period and the contract can be extended.
It could be possible that your day starst at 9am and end at 4:30pm in Histon, rather than Swaffham Bulbeck, on some days of the week.
Do you think you would enjoy working with us? If you are a team player who is committed to equal opportunities, has good communication skills, is able to prioritise and use your own initiative to plan and lead meaningful activities, and who is happy to help our learners with some aspects of their personal care we would love to hear from you. It would be great if you already have some experience of working with people with learning disabilities or autism, are happy to do some training and willing to drive a minibus. We get paid £ 8.42/hr and get 8% employers pension.
The deadline for applications is Friday 20 December at 1pm. If you would like to discuss the post informally, please telephone Liz Taylor on 01223 811662.
Please apply using our applicaiton form and either e-mail it, post it or upload it.
