Skanska's Christmas meal for people with mental ill health
"We also work very closely with other organisations and funders which allows us to provide the services we do". Funders For example, the Heritage Lottery fund has enabled us to run our Crafty Sew and Sows project where we learn and share with the community, the skills our grandparents took for granted.
We are also grateful to ARM Holdings plc, Three Guineas Trust, Cambridge Community Foundation, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge Country Council and Lloyds Foundation.
Partners Skanska one of the world’s leading project development and construction companies' Cambridge Project Team contributed to our Christmas meal for adults with mental health challenges in the Ely area, and is currently working with us to develop and improve our facilities at Harvey's Barn.
We work in partnership with Cambridgeshire Regional College allowing some students to benefit from our expertise and facilities.
Employers We provide 1:1 support for adults in the workplace and for their employers—for instance we work closely with the HR team at multinational semiconductor and software company ARM Holdings plc at their headquarters in Cambridge. Local authorities Advance, our current 24 week programme, supported by the Cambridge Adult Learning Fund, is for disabled people and people living with mental ill health who are keen to get back to work.
