Volunteering
We are looking for the following volunteers at the moment:
someone with an interest in autism to support our Aspirations clients
someone with an interest in gardening to support our Options clients who have learning disabilities
Volunteers play a vital role at Red2Green and it is only through their valued support that many people are able to participate in our services and we can achieve our aim of being at the forefront as a provider of learning, leisure and work opportunities for those who need it most.
There are many ways that volunteers can help, and we will always try to match the skills and interests of the volunteer to the type of support that is needed, so that volunteers also benefit and can further their own development. We have volunteers attached to most services.
Our volunteering opportunities can be flexible or more regular and include supporting clients attending our services, supporting a particular activitiy such as gardening or enabling people who have become isolated to get out.
We pay 40p a mile for travel expenses. All volunteers have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
If you want to know more about how your time can change lives please get in touch with us, by email, or by phoning 01223 811662. Please see below for our volunteer application form.
