Anglesey Abbey
In the kitchen garden of the National Trust property Anglesey Abbey, we support young people at risk of exclusion from school and those with an interest in horticulture to obtain a BTEC in horticulture.
The produce grown in the garden is supplied to the kitchen of the restaurant at Anglesey Abbey, the flexible arrangements enable the chef to request specific things to be grown and to adapt the menu to whatever is fresh that day, a triumph for food miles.
The service is suitable for young people and we welcome interest from secondary schools. There is also potential for other groups to make use of the site.
For more information telephone 01223 811662 or e mail info@red2green.org. There is a charge for this service.
