Advance

Progressing into work at Red2Green Red2Green’s Advance project works with people who would benefit from support into work or volunteering, either because their skills need updating, they lack confidence or because employers have been unable to see past their disability.

Whether people want quick help or support for a year, we will:

  • offer activities to help build confidence and self esteem
  • help people develop individual action plans based on their aims, aspirations, interests, talents and personality style
  • encourage accredited employment related training
  • develop relevant skills in preparation for employment or volunteering
  • ensure mentoring support
  • provide regular reviews to support both the employer and employee for an agreed time.

Within the first year, we envisage everyone will achieve relevant volunteering or work experiences in line with their personal plans and with local opportunities.
